Mission: Session 5: Rush
Location: On the Warden

It had been a long strange trip. Jones was sitting on the bridge, the mining colony was just coming into view in the front windows of the ship when the comm started to beep. Walter who just wanted a drink slammed the button on the console.

"What?" Jones said gruffly into the speaker.

(Incoming audio message)
The message starts out with a gravelly voice, and with a hint of electronic distortion, "Greetings to the crew of the SS Warden! I hope that this message finds you well. Allow me to introduce myself. I am called Cab-Cantos Hajj No. I find that it is generally good form to at least start our business in an ingratiating manner. Now that all pleasantries are aside, allow me to state my intentions. It has come to my attention that you fine folks are worth a great deal of money. When I come to visit, you would be doing yourselves credit if you handed yourselves over without incident. I would hate for our dealings to be anything but pleasant. Please, do try to stay alive until our meeting. I can't wait to meet you all in person!"

He looked at the others on the bridge and shrugged his shoulders. "Any ideas?"

"Well according to the bounty net, we're worth about 10 million bars of latinum, with bonuses for each of us. I'd say we have a pretty big bulls eye painted on our ship." Jan said.

Morgan snorted, "Only 10 million? Apparently I am loosing my appeal. Bio-genics is obviously not such a hot topic any more. Did he leave a return phone number?"

"We should stay clear," Lottie said, "I'm quite fond of keeping my head attached no matter what price tag it has."

Jones had pulled up the bounty net. "No 10 Million for the ship plus bonuses for the rest of us apparently." Lottie try tracing that message down. He might be the one responsible for that bomb that was on the hull."

"Doubtful, unless he was on Lagash as well. I did an analysis on the piece that the Doc pulled out of my leg, it had contaminants consistent with it's atmosphere. My money is on Park." Jan said.

"Wanna put a wager on it?"Lottie looked over her shoulder at Jan as she keyed the console attempting to retrace the source of the transmission

"He probably came out of the woodwork when he heard about a 10 mill reward, I need to check that out, that is pretty ridiculous. Hopefully we'll get our docking clearance soon and we can get on the station, I need a beer." Jones hit the comm again. "Look, I'll buy you a beer sometime we'll get that sorted out, we are going to be at Deep Space 7, Roark Nor, Nice little bar there, watch out for the Security officer, she bites." Jones clicked off the comm. "That ought to buy us some time."

"If we'll lucky," Lottie so lowly. "Though I wouldn't have warned him about the chief let him have what he deserves."

"This guy gives me a weird feeling, I don't think we should dismiss him yet." Jan said.

"You are probably right, see if you can get the some of the internal defenses going again. I know it got pretty wrecked after those other bounty hunters were in here, hopefully it will help us get a drop on him if he decides to board us." Jones looked over at Jan and the rest of them. "Also don't be afraid to carry a side arm, who knows who is going to come after us."

"Just the one?" Lottie half turned wit a wry smile."

The button on the console started blinking again. Walt leaned over hit the button and the voice of the dockmaster came over again. "Warden, you are clear for docking, proceed to pylon 3, welcome to Mining Station Comstock."
